Zuri Greene is a filmmaker and fiction writer. He recently graduated from Emory University’s Film and Media Program and was awarded high departmental honors for his undergraduate thesis short film, The Salt In The Sea of Life, which is currently in post-production.

He is directing and editing a documentary short on his late uncle, the first U.S. man to receive a tracheostomy transplant, and his experience at the Karolinska Institutet in Sweden.

Zuri is working on a novel titled A Brief Transit, about a surgeon mother moving her college-aged daughter to the Caucasus Region after the death of her caring but ultimately self-destructive husband.

He’s worked as a trailer director and editor for the Aperture International Student Film Festival, and worked as a film festival programmer for the NYC Shorts Film Festival.

Zuri also enjoys working as a cinematographer and camera operator, and enjoys film photography.
